How should I prepare for a blood test?
Check Fasting Requirements: Some blood tests require fasting, typically for 8-12 hours before the test. This means you shouldn't eat or drink anything besides water. Common tests that require fasting include cholesterol, glucose, and certain metabolic panels. Confirm with your doctor if fasting is needed.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before your test. Being well-hydrated helps make your veins easier to find, which can make the blood draw smoother.
Avoid Certain Foods: If you don’t need to fast, avoid fatty or sugary foods for at least a few hours before the test, as they may affect the results.
What is your cancellation policy?
We request that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.
